Acadia National Park has a very nice view. There's a lot of things that you can do. For example there are a lot of good camping spots and good fishing and swimming areas. Also you can go canoeing. The park was established to protect the areas spectacular views, like its rock and round coast, and its offshore islands.


Location, size, and distance


The park is located close to Bar Harbor, Maine.
The size of the park is 20 kilometers, also it has a 35,000 of a nice sun coast.
It is 1547.32miles from where I live.

The Park Hours

The Park opens on April 15, 8:00am to 4:30pm to June, July to August is 8:00am to 6:00pm, on September to October its open 8:00am to 5:00pm, and on October to November the park is open 8:00am to 4:30pm. Also the visitor center is open all year Monday through Friday


Climate


The weather during the seasons there.In the winter, December the wether is around 28 degrees, on January is around 23 degrees, and in February its around 25 degrees.In Spring, March is more like 45 degrees, April 53 degrees, and in May its 57 degrees. In Summer, June is 63 degrees, July is 67 degrees, and in August its 65 degrees. In fall, September its 59 degrees, in October its 50 degrees, and in November its around 40 degrees.

The park became a park in 1913. President Woodrow Wilson help make it a national park. The park in the past used to be called Sieur De Monts National monument. But in 1929 it was changed to Acadia National Park.

120 miles for hikers to enjoy, the park used to be called Sieur de Mouts National monument.Things to see
If you go there sometime you might see some stone bridges, gate lodges, and there are a lot of coping stones.
