Channel Islands National Park is open a year round.
The visitor center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends and the holidays.

In the Winter and Fall it is 53˚F to 59˚F.
In the Spring and Summer it is to 62˚F to 70˚F.

History


Channel Islands became a national park on March 5, 1938.
Franklin D. Roosevelt helped it the Channel island become a national park
When WWII was still the U.S. put up costal defenses in the Cold War.
