Climate
The weather at Congaree National Park in the winter is very cool and also mild.

In the summer the weather is hot between 80 degrees and 90 degrees.

The fall is also moderate but a little cooler than spring. The park is very much wildlife so it is humid a lot of the time and sometimes it can get moderate and cold.


History
Congaree National Park became a park on November 10th, 2003.

The history of the park is that the Congaree Indians claimed a floodplain and they ended up being killed by a disease that European settlers
called smallpox and that is the National Park got it's name.
