Park Hour
  • Death Valley is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. pacific time.
  • The visitor center is open daily Winter from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • In Summer the visitor center is open from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Winter the tempature is from 3 to 5 degrees.
  • Spring the tempature is from 30 to 50 degrees.
  • Summer the tempature is 120 degrees.
  • Fall the tempature is 102 degrees.
This is Zabriskie Point in Death Valley National Park

  • It was built when the twenty mule teams, prospecters with there burros, and lost pioneers represent the extent of human history in Death Valley to most native people have been there since at least the end of the last ice age. it was fonded and has been there since dinosuars were extinct.
  • The people who helped make it a national park are Timbisha Shoshone, a party of emagrants, 20 mule teams, and Pete Aguereberry.

  • Telescope Peak in Death Valley National Park was named by Dr. Samuel George in 1861 after climbing the 11,049 foot peak Dr. George said that he could see so far that it reminded him of looking through a telescope.

  • When you go to Death Valley National Park you will see lots of animals like Deer and as cool as that you will see bears there and you will also see some goats and whole bunch of other animals.
  • You will see restaurants these are not like Olive Garden these restaurants are less food you different foods one of the restaurants name is Wing Valley it is a restaurant that has hot, spicy food.
  • Death Valley Museum it has a lot of facts about the early explorers and also how it became a national park it will also show the animals that live in death valley and a whole lot more.
  • You will see a hotel called Death Valley National Park Hotel.
Things to do
  • You will do a lot of things there the first thing is biking if you find the trail
  • Hiking there is a trail that leads there from the visitor center.

  • Camping you will be taken to a cabin, boys and girls cabin.
  • And last you will get automobile drives around.
